Hounslow Urban Regeneration Scheme

Value - £37m | Client - Wates Contruction Ltd

An urban regeneration scheme across four sites incorporating MMC and Passivhaus design.

Working alongside Wates and Hunters Architects, we have been involved in an exciting regeneration scheme for the London Borough of Hounslow. Involving four infill sites, the £37m project features the use of structural MMC, concrete frames and pile foundations, designed within a BIM environment.

The scheme at Orchard Road consists of five Passivhaus constructed, two-storey sustainable and affordable family houses. Arranged in a terraced block, the scheme is designed to achieve LETI standards with associated landscaping, cycle storage, refuse and recycling storage.

The Everglades site includes the demolition of the existing buildings, and design of three reinforced concrete frame buildings (two infill blocks and one new block) comprising 33 residential units, associated access, parking, landscaping and associated structures.

At the Clements Court site, 74 residential units have been delivered within four blocks, along with associated access, parking and landscaping.

And finally, at Rose Gardens, two existing buildings have been demolished and replaced with three buildings comprising 42 residential units along with associated parking, open space, public realm improvements, cycle storage and refuse and recycling storage.

Associated civil engineering services included new drainage, roads, highway junction and car parking provisions.
