Freightliner is one of our long-standing clients and we have built a trusted relationship through the successful delivery of civil and structural engineering services across its UK network. Our team has supported projects at major Freightliner sites including Crewe, Southampton, Leeds, Manchester and Birmingham.

Over the years, we have delivered a wide range of improvement, extension and upgrade projects to enhance operational capacity and future-proof facilities which included the development of new units, track and line extensions, facility remodelling, and significant infrastructure alterations. A notable project in Birmingham involved major modifications to accommodate land acquisition and network changes associated with the HS2 development.

Our involvement spans the full project lifecycle, from initial feasibility studies and appraisals through to detailed design and construction delivery. By working closely with Freightliner’s site teams, we ensure that project requirements are fully understood while maintaining the safe and efficient operation of live freight facilities throughout the delivery process.

In addition to project delivery, we provide strategic advisory support, reviewing proposed land acquisitions and third-party developments affecting Freightliner sites to enable Freightliner to make informed decisions, safeguarding operational interests and identifying potential risks and costs at an early stage.
