Located in the centre of Birmingham’s Southside, The Boulevard is a landmark private residential development featuring a modern design, sustainability, and urban connectivity.

Developed by Investin PLC, we’ve been working with a collaborative team including Thornton Firkin (Project Manager), Wake Moreley Architects, Bespoke Construction (Main Contractor), Carter Complete Building Services (MEP Contractor).
The Boulevard provides 278 thoughtfully designed one and two-bedroom apartments, each crafted with a focus on contemporary aesthetics and environmental responsibility. Residents benefit from a suite of on-site amenities, including a gym, residents’ lounges, concierge services, secure car parking, and cycle storage. The development’s prime location offers easy access to Birmingham city centre, major transport links, and the iconic Edgbaston Cricket Ground.
A significant challenge during the project was the shortage of high voltage power capacity in the city centre. Our team’s involvement was pivotal, as we performed a thorough load assessment and worked in close partnership with the contractor. By using efficiency measures and carefully specifying equipment, the team ensured the development’s power requirements aligned with the local infrastructure.
Additionally, all apartments were fitted with mechanical ventilation heat recovery (MVHR) units to comply with building regulations and SAP requirements, ensuring a safe, healthy, and environmentally friendly living environment.
We worked alongside the design team to deliver comprehensive life safety systems. Detailed designs for fire alarm and sprinkler systems were developed at the pre-planning stage, ensuring robust protection and compliance with the latest safety standards.
