New leadership for Clancy Consulting in London

Building upon well-established foundations, the Clancy Consulting team in London is entering a new era of leadership amid a time of growth for one of our key regional divisions.

After more than 16 years with the business, Satpal (Sat) Sagoo, Divisional Director – London, has been appointed to lead our London office.

Sat takes over from Sukh Chana, previous Director of our London and South East operations, who has taken a well-earned retirement after 18 years with Clancy.

During his tenure, Sukh helped to achieve our client-focused culture from the capital and built a collaborative team environment. Sukh brought Sat to Clancy in the late 2000’s to work alongside Divisional Director Andrew Moffatt and, more recently, Claudio Corallo, Divisional Director specialising in Heritage Engineering, strategically establishing the current leadership team in London and laying the groundwork for our future growth.

We wish Sukh every bit of health and happiness in his retirement!

What’s next for Clancy Consulting in London?

The transition to new leadership under Sat was gradual and well-managed by Sukh and our wider senior leadership team.

While a period of change for our London team, this is very much business as usual – with one eye on our future ambitions in the region.

Under Sat’s new leadership, our civil, structural and heritage engineering services in London continue to be closely supported by our Divisional Directors, who now take responsibility for a wider range of leadership duties and remain committed to our collaborative approach.

Our London and South East operations will always deliver the same high standards that our clients have come to expect.

But the goal isn’t just to maintain, it is ultimately to grow.

Looking ahead: 2025 and beyond

As we enter this new period of growth for Clancy Consulting in London, Sat explained what’s to come for the company:

“Our mantra remains the same: there will be no major changes, rather this is a time of steady, strategic growth for us.

“The aim is to scale sustainably, with flexibility in resourcing and project types. In short, this is a time to keep doing what we are great at and refocus where needed.

“We’re continually broadening our sector reach to navigate the ever-changing market and will look to strengthen our offering in sectors that present significant opportunities.

“For example, there is scope to pursue a greater range of work in the retrofit and repurposing of existing buildings in this growing sector.’”
