Moorpark Primary School, Kilbirnie, North Ayrshire
A modern, sustainable education building designed with a timber frame structure at its core.
By value-engineering the original cross-laminated timber (CLT) design into a traditional open-panel timber frame, we reduced both embodied carbon and programme time – cutting the construction schedule from 22 weeks to 16 weeks, while maintaining structural integrity.
Dixons Newall Green Academy, Manchester
A secondary free school for the Department for Education (DfE) operated by the Dixons Academies Trust.
Accommodating 750 students aged 11-16 years, the project involved designing a new two-storey classroom block along with a sports hall with associated changing facilities, which provides out-of-hours community use.
Pens Meadow SEN School, Dudley
A brand-new school for 3 to 19-year-olds with special educational and medical needs.
Built with sustainability in mind, integrating PV panels for electricity and a digital interface heating system, the project is nearing completion later this year.
The new school, built on the site of a former one, offers a crucial SEN service to the community.
