Clancy Consulting announces new Liverpool office to support continued growth across the North West.

Clancy has relocated to a new office in central Liverpool as part of continued investment across the UK and commitment to providing industry leading, sustainable, modern, flexible working environments for its growing teams.

Previously based on Old Hall Street, the multi-disciplinary engineering firm will now be based at Tempest on Tithebarn Street.

The 1970s building was transformed by Capital&Centric into a highly sustainable, energy efficient industrial‐style office space with extensive on-site amenities, including café-bar and rooftop garden providing a collaborative, informal work environment. It is also home to other design and construction specialists – placing the Clancy team at the heart of Liverpool’s thriving business community.

The move follows a period of strong performance for Clancy’s division in Liverpool, which continues to deliver work as part of many long-term frameworks and via repeat business with key clients, such as Co-op, RLB, Holcim, and BP.

Clancy in Liverpool is led by divisional director, Craig Yates, who has been with the company for more than 38 years. Alongside the high-density city centre projects Clancy is known for across the UK, the team also specialises in industrial and advanced manufacturing projects, including heavy manufacturing, pharmaceutical, petrochemical and structural survey work.

Craig Yates, divisional director of Clancy in Liverpool, said: “This move is the next chapter for Clancy in Liverpool. Joining the Tempest community reflects the way our team works today and marks our intent to reinvigorate our long-standing presence in the city. We look forward to welcoming new and existing clients to our new home and building on the strong legacy of work we’ve delivered from here over the years.”

The relocation means that Clancy is looking to recruit for several new roles to support ongoing growth. It also strengthens Clancy’s regional links across it’s network of eight offices, recently bolstered by capital investment in new, sustainable headquarters at Windmill Green in central Manchester, and new historic Grade C-listed offices in the heart of Glasgow.

Chris Acton, CEO of Clancy Consulting, said: “Our Liverpool office has a proud history and a strong reputation, especially in the industrial and residential sectors. Our new space echoes our commitment to provide the highest quality sustainable working environments for our teams, helping attract and retain talent, support our successful hybrid working model, promote collaboration between our offices, and give our growing local team the very best environment to deliver for our clients across the North West and beyond.”
