We acted as lead discipline for the £1m refurbishment of the faience facade of Orient House, in Manchester City Centre. This fine Grade II listed Victorian building exhibited significant cracking due to corrosion of the steel frame. The remedial work included the installation of a cathodic protection system and replacement of defective faience.
