Brunner Mond (UK) Ltd are a leading producer of soda ash in Europe. They operate two process plants in Northwich where, since 1995 we have advised on projects that are part of the gradual modernisation of the works. We have provided a one stop engineering service on a variety of structures for the plant upgrades.
Typically the projects have included electrical switchrooms and substations together with plant support structures. However between 1995 and 2001 we provided civil design and cost management for the £6m automation of the rail discharge facilities for stone at both sites. During construction we supplied the client with a resident engineer.
An example of a recently completed project using our multidiscipline service was the conversion of a workshop to offices for a central operations and control centre.
