Project: Walsgrave Hospital, Coventry

Walsgrave 02

Walsgrave 02 Walsgrave 03

This £18m project, completed in 2005, has represented a number of technical challenges during the design process. A traditional steel frame supports insitu concrete floors in addition to architectural feature brickwork at the various levels. The curved roof profile to the main front elevation will provide an attractive addition to the Walsgrave Hospital. This is a PFI project as a whole. The project has also been procured on a negotiated route with the contractor being involved during the design stage.
