Construction of two 13 storey student accommodation blocks with a value of £30m.
Split into 2 phases - Phase 1 to provide 990 beds, Phase 2 includes retail accommodation at ground floor. The building is constructed of a steel frame with composite concrete floors. The frames are supported on reinforced concrete pad foundations which bear directly onto bedrock.
The scheme at the time of construction was the largest single student development of its kind in the UK.
