7th Leg - Newcastle to Glasgow - Part 2

And so Frank Ward and Scott Morrison took over at Hawick for the 84 miles over to Glasgow.

Myself and a friend left Hawick at 10.30am with the hope of getting back to Glasgow to watch the Scottish Cup Final at 3pm.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

...only stopping for the essentials....

 

 

 

 

 

 

...and to let cows cross the road...

 

 

 

 

 

 

...and at the new Sir Chris Hoy Velodrome (not a Clancy job) for a quick spin...

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

...and back just in time for the football – The Champions League Final at 7:45pm!
(note the tremendous welcoming party)...

 

Only another 38.5 miles to Prestwick tomorrow!!
