New Divisional Director at Reading

We are extremely pleased to announce the appointment of Keith Strong as Divisional Director who joins our team in the Reading office. Keith joined us on the 3rd December 2007 and brings his vast wealth of knowledge and experience and will assist the continued provision of the very best service to our Clients and professional colleagues in the South East.
Everyone at Clancy wishes Keith a very warm welcome. A short personal profile follows:-
Keith spent the early part of his career at PSA/DOE Directorate of Defence Services, working on USAF and RAF sites, which he joined from school and was fortunate to undertake a day release degree in Civil/Structural Engineering as part of his PSA training. In 1988 he joined Mouchel and was responsible for the lead design of the Thurrock Lakeside Shopping Centre Development Project, and became a chartered member of the Institution of Structural Engineers in 1990. He subsequently took up senior roles with various Consulting Engineers as Associate Partner/Director within the South East and later Partner/Director for a small Reading based Consulting Engineers.
His near 30 years in the industry has provided wide ranging experience from major industrial projects such as the Development of Cruise Missile Bases and Airfields for RAF and USAF in the UK, lead design for the Thurrock Lakeside Shopping Centre Development, Leisure and Sports facilities such as football stadia - Charlton Athletic's Training Facility, and Sports/Leisure Centers for South Oxfordshire Council, development works at Oxford University Buildings, major retail/commercial developments in Dartford, London and Birmingham areas and generally in the South East of England, general residential developments for various Clients, and Retail redevelopment works with Daniel Department Stores.
He believes in building strong relationships with Clients, providing a personal touch and encourages networking at all levels of the team to ensure pro-active participation and Client satisfaction, with of course a commercial awareness.
Keith is a keen motorcyclist and motoring enthusiast, and is particularly fond of sports, both in participation and as a marketing/networking opportunity.
