Divisional Director Appointment at London Office

We are very pleased to announce that Sukh Chana joined us today as Divisional Director with responsibility for the London office. To have secured someone of the calibre of Sukh and with his wealth of knowledge and experience makes us extremely confident that we will continue to provide our Clients and professional colleagues with the very best service in London and the South East and that the office will continue to grow and prosper.
Everyone at Clancy wishes Sukh a very warm welcome. A short personal profile follows:-
Sukh spent the early part of his career at RT James and Partners whom he joined as a graduate in 1982. His 17 years with James provided wide ranging experience from major industrial projects such as the New Submarine Facility at VSEL, Barrow, Blast Resistant Control Buildings for the petrochemical industry, Leisure and Sports facilities such as football stadia - Charlton Athletic's West Stand, Wrexham Mold Road Stand and the Westway Sports Centre, and prestigious residential/mixed use projects such as Exchange Court, London and the redevelopment of Tittenhurst Park.
He then spent over 7 years with Cameron Taylor developing both his technical and management skills on several high profile projects such as the new corporate headquarter for the Crown Estate off Regent Street, and also for the Prospect Trust at Waterloo. Mixed Use schemes also featured strongly with projects such as Harlequin Court, The Corner at Westbourne Grove and the redevelopment of Daniels, West Ealing.
Sukh has also had the opportunity of working overseas, particularly with the Japanese both in Tokyo and in the Middle East, together with the Dutch principally in Holland.
He believes in building strong relationships with Clients, providing a personal touch and encourages networking at all levels of the team to ensure pro-active participation and Client satisfaction, with of course a commercial awareness.
Sukh is particularly fond of sports, both in participation and as a marketing/networking opportunity - and can often be seen at Lords as a Middlesex CCC member. He is a keen swimmer, played hockey for his University and enjoys hill walking and seasonal skiing with his wife and three children.
