Clancy Goes Global
In a landmark move for Clancy Consulting, our first overseas office was opened on June 1st in Mumbai, India and trading as Clancy Global.
The joint venture is the result of a relationship that has developed over the last few years with a local business, AKG Consultancy.
The office presently has 9 technical staff under the day-to-day management of Akhil Ganatra, who worked in the Clancy Building Services department in Manchester, while studying towards his Masters degree and prior to returning home to India to develop his career.
The office has already secured a multi-disciplinary appointment for the Mulund Shopping Mall in a suburb of Mumbai. This 100,000 square metre floor area, state of the art facility includes major anchor stores, general retail, a market place, food court, multiplex cinema, entertainment centre, a health centre and offices.
Further opportunities are being developed in the health, pharmaceutical, banking, residential and IT sectors. It is anticipated that the staff numbers in India will increase shortly to meet the demand created, although the office will work in close collaboration with the UK.
