The quality of the environment in which we live is an important concern for the company, our staff, clients, suppliers and the communities in which we operate. That is why Clancy Consulting is committed to minimising the adverse affects on the environment from the conduct of its business and to working with our clients to help them to develop and subsequently operate environmental and sustainable best practice strategies.
The Directors of Clancy Consulting Limited recognise Environmental Management as an integral part of its business performance. They regard the promotion of the management of the environment as a mutual objective for all its Management and Employees at all levels.
The company have an Environmental Management System that is accredited to BS EN ISO 14001: 2004, and that integrates with its Quality Management System and Occupational Health & Safety Management System, and which incorporates this Policy.
The objectives of the Clancy Policy in respect of Environment Management are to: -
• Provide, as a minimum, a standard of Environmental Management which fully complies with the requirements of all relevant statutory provisions, and which is appropriate to the nature, scale and impact of its activities and services.
• Provide adequate and appropriate resources and staff with information, instructions, training and supervision necessary to enable them to comply with the Policy and recorded Procedures.
• Provide adequate and appropriate resources to implement the Policy.
• Minimise the environmental effects, prevent pollution and reduce resource usage of its own office-based activities, by establishing environmental objectives that will be monitored annually.
• Encourage clients to prevent pollution and minimize the adverse affects of projects in all phases.
• Maintain a constant and continuing interest in Environmental Management matters applicable to the Company’s activities in particular by consulting and involving Employees wherever possible, to achieve a continual cost-effective improvement in performance.
• Periodically review the Policy, and the Management System and audit the compliance of both.
