Clancy Consulting use an accredited suite of software products developed by IES Ltd (UK), which simulate the dynamic thermal performance of buildings and their systems. The software performs dynamic building simulation with integrated natural and forced airflow. IES has a suite of software which is complete allowing thermal simulation of new or existing buildings, allowing design professionals to compare alternative heating/cooling strategies coupled with façade design for comfort, and sizing of equipment and energy demand.
Clancy Consulting use the IES <Virtual Environment> compliance software for Building Regulations which has recently received the accreditation of approved calculation software tool by the Department of Communities and Local Government (formerly ODPM)
