Schedules of Condition are prepared to record the state of a property at lease commencement to create a snapshot to protect both the landlord's and the tenant's interests particularly with regard to potential future dilapidations claims at lease expiry.
They may also be required as part of a Party Wall Award relating to proposed adjacent construction.
