Alterations & Refurbishment

Our Surveyors can advise on the implications of past and proposed remedial works to commercial, industrial and domestic buildings. We can organise, where necessary, testing and undertake investigations.

During the design phase we will liaise on our Client’s behalf with relevant bodies e.g. Local Authority Building Control and Planning Departments, Environment Agency and Public Utilities. We can advise on other relevant matters such as The Party Wall Etc Act 1996 and the implications of a building being listed.

We fully appreciate the implications of carrying out alterations and refurbishment to occupied premises which are often situated on busy and congested sites. Our Project Surveyor will work closely with our Client to ensure that the scheme we develop will cause minimum disruption to their safe use of the building whilst ensuring that the work can be undertaken safely and as economically as possible.
