We can add value to the project by using the Vixen cost estimating system, which is an ‘expert system’ and provides detailed Building Services costs from budget stage to pre-tender.
We have invested in this unique and extremely powerful programming system and have used it extensively to support clients and the professional team in the initial costing exercise of the development, continuing through to the design development and pre-tender stage.
The programme incorporates both our own cost data and the BCIS indices, offering pre-design costs on all types of projects, including conventional projects, PFI, PPP and Design and Build projects.
We have used it’s advanced ‘expert system’ background for over 12 months and found accuracy levels to be within 5% of the tender return values.
