Clancy Bike Ride
Our major event to celebrate our 40th year in business will be linking our 9 UK offices by bike. The cycle ride will take place over 6 consecutive weekends - starting on 14th April in Norwich and finishing in Glasgow on 20th May – coincidentally a period of just about 40 days! See ** Update ** below.
The aim is to be as inclusive as possible, with members of staff either cycling, driving support vehicles, providing refreshments or just cheering people on.
There will be legs which are challenging even for the more experienced cyclists – Liverpool to Newcastle - and shorter legs – Altrincham to Liverpool - which will be challenging enough to the participants, which will include young children.
We aim to have fun on the way, taking the opportunity to hold local events to coincide with departure and arrival at our offices, all aimed at raising our profile and raising funds for our chosen 40th Year charities, RedR and British Heart Foundation.
We look forward to receiving support from our clients and friends by joining us en route or by sponsoring the participation of our staff.

In addition to this, a far greater cycling challenge is to be taken up by Nick Riding of Clancy GeoEnvironmental, as he takes on ‘L’Etape du Tour’, a prelude to this year’s 16th Stage of Le Tour de France, taking on 4 major cols in the Pyrenees, including the mighty Col du Tourmalet. At 130 miles and with 18,000ft of ascent, his efforts are deserving of your sponsorship. To sponsor Nick click here.
