Engineering excellence in the built environment

40th Anniversary

25_Not OutWe were extremely proud back in 1997 to have reached the milestone of twenty-five years in business as the inset extract from our newsletter of the time indicates. However, to have continued that into the new millennium and to be embarking upon our fortieth year is really something we wish to celebrate with our clients, fellow professionals and staff alike.

Since Brian Clancy stepped down from the helm in 1999, we are pleased to report the business has continued to flourish, whilst maintaining the good professional business ethics embedded so well by Brian. That has included further growth of our skills in the core areas of Buildings, Energy, Environmental and Infrastructure, additional local presence in Birmingham, Glasgow, Norwich, Prestwick and Reading. We have also developed an international dimension with our presence in India now entering it’s seventh year and more recently we have embarked on a number of ventures across the Middle East.

We agonised long and hard over the most appropriate way to mark our fortieth year. That process included asking our staff committee to put suggestions forward which brought some excellent ideas. We have considered and are currently developing these and whilst further details will been included in this section of the website, they include at the heart a principle of fundraising and as Brian calls it to ‘give a little back’.

We have also re-committed to our University Prize scheme and extended this to a total of nine (one per office) and intend extending our ‘Spaghetti Bridge Challenge’ presently used with placement students to involve schools local to our offices.

All very ambitious but we hope we can pull these off and maybe see you joining us along the way...
