This £7m project comprises the construction of an 8 storey building with basement. The building contains 72 apartments on the upper floors with commercial space on the ground floor. The basement area is to be used as car parking space.
The building is of steel framed construction supporting pre-cast concrete suspended upper floors. The external elevations are a combination of rendered panels and proprietary cladding supported directly off the steel frame.
The building is constructed over the Merseyrail loop tunnel and the foundations are designed in such a way in order to limit the stress imposed on the tunnel.
